What this is

Golden Set brings together tennis players of a similar level, keeps their matches and rating, shows free hours at clubs, runs tournaments and helps find a coach. It is free for players.

Your account

One account, one person. Give true details, do not pass yourself off as somebody else and do not share access. You answer for everything done under your account.

Age

Golden Set is for ages 13 and up; under 18, with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. Do not send your home address in chats, meet at the club, and report inappropriate messages to us.

If the year of birth you give makes you under 13, registration will not complete.

A parent or guardian may book a child under 13 for a lesson with a coach in their own name and under their own responsibility: the lesson stays with the parent, and the coach contacts the parent, not the child.

What is not allowed

Faking results or the rating, holding several accounts, passing yourself off as somebody else, abuse and threats, spam and advertising, publishing other people’s photos or details without consent, interfering with the service or harvesting data from it automatically.

For a breach we may, without warning, hide content, take points back, restrict features or block the account.

Your content

What you publish (photos, texts, descriptions) is yours. By publishing it you confirm you have the right to, and allow the project to show it in the service and on the website free of charge. We may remove content that breaches these terms.

Matches and rating

One player enters the score, the other confirms it; unanswered, it counts after 24 hours. The rating is calculated automatically under open rules.

Match results, scores, the rating, statistics and tournaments are the Golden Set database and are kept after an account is deleted.

For players

You play at your own risk and answer for your own health and fitness to play.

Arrangements about a game, a court, a lesson or a payment are between you, other players, the club or the coach. The project is not a party to them.

The court belongs to the club: the price, cancellation and no-show rules are the club’s. A tournament is run by a club or an organiser, who decides who is admitted.

For clubs

These provisions are accepted by a club’s owner when the club is set up, and by each of the club’s administrators.

The club confirms it holds the rights to its name, logo, photographs and descriptions, and allows the project to show them in the service, on the website and in material about the service. The club answers for any third-party claim about that content.

The club provides the court hire itself and answers for it: prices, hours, the state of the courts, safety on its grounds, cancellation rules, refunds, fiscal receipts, taxes and permits. The project only shows the schedule and passes bookings on.

The club keeps its schedule honestly: no fictitious bookings, no cancelling a confirmed booking without good reason, and players are told in time.

Players’ data the club sees in the console is used only for their bookings and tournaments, is not passed to anybody else and is not used for advertising outside the service.

Paid services (plans, tournaments, TOP) are paid in advance for the chosen period. Payment for a period already begun is not refunded. Prices of later periods may change — we say so in advance.

The club settles players’ complaints about its services itself. The project may decline to publish a club, unpublish it, restrict its features or end its access if it breaches these terms or misleads players.

For tournament organisers

The organiser — a club or a person — runs the tournament and answers for it: dates, venue, format, admission, entry fees, prizes, refereeing, safety and refunds if it is cancelled.

The announcement must be true and results entered honestly. Promised prizes are the organiser’s obligation, not the project’s.

The project may hide, stop or cancel a tournament, take back the points it paid, or withdraw the right to announce tournaments if the terms are breached.

For coaches

The coach confirms that what they state about their experience, qualifications and certificates is true, and that their photographs and videos are theirs or used with permission.

The coach gives lessons themselves and answers for them: content, students’ safety, court arrangements with the club, payment from students, refunds and taxes. The project is not the coach’s employer, agent or intermediary.

The project may hide a coach’s page, reviews or content that breach these terms.

Paying for a court

Some clubs take payment online. The seller is the club: the money goes to the club’s account through its bank, and the club issues the receipt. Golden Set receives no funds and takes no commission. You enter your card on the bank’s page.

Where a club requires payment, the court is booked once the payment is confirmed; unpaid in time, the hour is released. Refunds are the club’s decision under its cancellation rules.

Tournament entry is paid to the club or the organiser directly.

Liability

The service is provided as is. We work to keep it running but do not promise it is uninterrupted or free of errors.

The project does not answer for the acts and obligations of players, clubs, organisers and coaches, for the state of courts, for injury or harm on court, or for lost profit. Where the project’s liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid the project in the last three months.

Clubs, organisers and coaches answer to third parties for their own services themselves, and make good the project’s losses caused by their breach of these terms.

Rights in the service

The Golden Set name, design, texts, rating system, code and database belong to the project. Copying them, harvesting them automatically or using them in your own products without written permission is not allowed.

Ending

You may delete your account at any time. We may restrict or end access for a breach of these terms. Match and tournament results stay in the Golden Set database either way.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. We first try to settle a dispute in writing; failing that, in a court under the law of Ukraine.

Changes

We may change these terms. We will tell you about important changes and ask you to accept the new version to keep using the service.
